Built by someone who understands caregiving.
Derna's Caregiving Haven was created by Derna Baskin, DC, a healthcare professional who has spent more than 20 years supporting older adults, family caregivers, and healthcare teams.
But the inspiration for this platform came much closer to home.
For more than two decades, Derna cared for her own mother while balancing the countless responsibilities that caregiving brings. She experienced firsthand how difficult it was to keep medications, appointments, daily notes, and important information organized while also trying to simply be present for the person she loved.
She often wished there was one calm, private place where everything caregivers needed could live together.
That experience became the foundation for Derna's Caregiving Haven.
Every feature inside this platform exists because it solves a real caregiving challenge she personally experienced or witnessed while supporting other families.
The goal has always been simple:
